Projects
RTools is a multi-faceted program designed to bring a large set of utilities to several different event management programs distributed by gaming companies. These tools are based on large amounts of feedback from judges, tournament organizers, players, and scorekeepers, all of which were asked what kinds of things would make their experience at an event easier. Overall, RTools is designed to be used as a resource towards making events faster, more efficient, and easier to run.
Features
- Pairings - Speed up the intraround turnaround by giving players the opportunity to know their pairings seconds after the final result is in, without the need to wait for several pages to print out. Pairings can be scrolled on projectors, external monitors, and the RTools package also contains all needed files to allow for players to access their pairings (along with other information) online through web-enabled mobile devices.
- Visual Standings - Provide an easy way for players to know their standings within an event, without the need for standings to be posted, especially in early rounds.
- Printing - Don't want to use match result slips for an event? Print out all matches (32/page) on one sheet, and simply let your players come to a single area to report their matches. Standings can also be printed out through RTools, (~50/page) as well as match result slips. (5/page)
- Countdown Timer - A purpose-built countdown timer, with both audio and visual notification of time reaching it's end, and functionality especially useful for a tournament environment.
- Additional pairing-based Tools - Draft? RTools can display pod seatings. Need to seat all players? Do so in several different methods.
- Additional Tools - Side functionality such as a TV-friendly clock, ticker, and other functionality available.
- and more...
